All CliniClean products contain 4% isopropyl alcohol.

CliniClean should NOT be used in the genital areas, near the eyes, ears or any other mucous membranes.

CliniClean can be applied directly to the skin, for hand washing and surgical scrub purposes. For Pre-operative patient pre, the product can be applied by a cloth or gauze.

For hand washing or CliniClean can be rinsed with regular warm water during hand washing. For prepping purposes, excess product should be wiped from the skin using a sterile towel.

Please consult your physician for showering instructions.  Chlorhexidine Gluconate Antiseptic products should not be used on the head/face, on the genital area, or in contact with the meninges.

Yes. Special laundering procedures should be considered when fabrics have come in contact with CliniClean to avoid brown staining that may develop due to a chemical reaction between CliniClean and chlorine. Prevent the CliniClean solution from setting on unwashed fabrics. Avoid laundering with chlorine bleach and use only non-chlorine detergents.

No. All CliniClean solutions should be used at their full concentration.

While CliniClean is safe for a child to use, parents should always supervise their children when using, as the product can cause damage to the eyes and ears if used improperly. 

Use with caution in premature infants and infants less than two months of age, as the products may cause irritation or chemical burns in this age group.

CliniClean’s expiration remains the same, regardless of when opened. Please follow the expiration dates printed on the bottles, packets and cartons.
